The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha spoke to the media after the result of the by-elections.
Question: Have you considered resigning?
Basha: 30% of Albanians participated in the elections, the administration was forced, gangs were also involved. One case has been denied by commissioners like the case of Vora. Albanians have realized that nothing has changed after April 25 and part of this is the war of denigration. One of the mistakes we often make is overcoming conclusions. The facts are strong. I am ready to give as I have given everything. DP is not personal property.
Question: Why insist on staying after 6 consecutive losses. Are you a third force?
Basha: I want to tell the propagandist that I have not lost any race, I have faced electoral massacres. Anyone who asks me to abandon my duty in this battle in the two main battle plans to offer Albanians the return of free voting and the acceleration of the DP reform to become a citizenship party will be disappointed.
