Michael Ballack less than a year ago experienced a family tragedy. His son, Emilio Ballack, died after crashing a four-wheeler on the family’s estate in Troia, near Lisbon.
In fact, a 21-year-old model, who was a “friend” of his now deceased son, is easing his pain. The two were pictured in Ibiza, enjoying a relationship that must be seen if it will stand the test of time.
Michael Ballack’s new girlfriend, Sophia Schneiderhan, was close friends with the late son of the football “star”. Thankfully, it seems Ballack has made strides to move on with his life.
They are said to have become closer since his son’s death and the fact that they are now on holiday together will only intensify the romance rumours.
Ballack, now 44, has featured in 98 games for Germany and is considered one of the greatest midfielders of his generation.
He spent four years with Chelsea between 2006 and 2010, winning the Premier League during that time, while winning three Bundesliga titles with Bayern Munich and another with Kaiserslautern early in his playing career.
Ballack missed out on the biggest trophies by being a Champions League finalist with Bayer Leverkusen and Chelsea as well as the European Championship and World Cup with Germany.
