The court has imposed the security measure “prison arrest” for Arqile Xhepa, who had become the “horror” of Tirana with the thefts he had committed.

The owner of the shop, Zana Mersini, stated that around 08:05, the seller of the shop informed her that they had stolen the shop and 10,000 lekë. She contacted the bank employees on the phone and they told her that they had tried several times to insert the card to withdraw money from the ATM in Kombinat, but they had not withdrawn any money and the card was blocked, according to the file available to journalist Anila Hoxha. .
From the store camera they noticed that at 21:20, a person enters the store with a hood, glasses and mask and took the money in a drawer at the counter, also checks other places and then leaves the store.
In his statement, Nestor Lila, who works as a driver, explains that the store was closed around 20:00 on January 25 and the next day around 08:20 they found the door open and the theft of a sum of 10,000 ALL that kept able.
After reviewing the film footage, it was concluded that the perpetrator was Arqil Xhepa, a person known with a precedent for the criminal offense of theft.
On January 29, around 17:00, Xhepa was caught red-handed in the street of Elbasan while he was carrying gloves, screwdrivers, etc. After his arrest, the police clarified that they had finalized the police operation codenamed “Night Scorpion”, to crack down on criminal activity in the field of theft of property and assets.
In his statement, Xhepa explained that he sold some of the stolen items to Kombinat, while explaining how he committed other thefts.
