As part of the police operation codenamed “Summer Day”, the following citizens were caught and arrested in flagrante delicto: AQ, 32 years old, born and living in Përmet;

Xh. V., 22 years old, previously convicted and LB, 18 years old, both residents of Durrës.

They were caught red-handed by the Police services, at Kavaja Rock, at the moment of selling electro-detonating capsules.

Citizen Xh. V. and the citizen LD were driving a vehicle type “Audi”, with which they went to the Rock of Kavaja, where the citizen AQ was waiting for them, who had come from Përmeti and had with him a handbag and a cardboard box inside which had packs of electro-detonating capsules (total 2000 pieces). At the time of the exchange of capsules, these citizens were caught red-handed by the specialists of the Section for Investigation of Illegal Trafficking and Narcotics.

During the physical control, citizens Xh. V. a knife was found.

In the quality of material evidence were seized 2000 electro-detonating capsules, a jacket and a sweater like those of the Police (with Police symbols), a hood, a knife, an Audi vehicle and 4 mobile phones.

In cooperation with the Prosecution, work continues for the full clarification of this case.

The materials were referred to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Durrës, for further investigation, for the criminal offenses “Unauthorized production and possession of weapons and ammunition”, “Unauthorized production and possession of cold steel”, “Unauthorized possession” the right to uniform ”and“ Trafficking in weapons and ammunition ”.
