A 37-year-old Greek waiter was arrested this Friday after being accused of raping and sexually abusing a minor girl.
It was the denunciation of the 16-year-old, who told investigators that her nightmare started at the age of 13 and lasted for almost 4 years, until the moment she found the strength to talk about the tragic event.
The author of the event is a priest and serves in a church in the Kato Patisia neighborhood of Athens, an area where the Albanian family also lives.
He himself is the parent of three children. The 37-year-old has denied the accusations, but the authorities say that they have already confirmed his authorship in the rape of the minor, while pornographic materials have been found on his computer.
He was taken to court, which decided to take him to jail, while on Friday evening it is reported that there is at least one second denunciation for the same act by him.
The Holy Synod of the Greek church immediately ordered his dismissal and launched an internal investigation into the incident.
Top Channel tried to communicate with the victim’s family but the mother of the citizen with the initials VP did not respond to the messages sent.
