Tirana Police has successfully finalized the operation codenamed “Predator”, as a result of which 1 citizen who cheated minors has fallen into handcuffs, for the purpose of sexual gain.
Specialists of the Section for Investigation of Illegal Trafficking in DVP Tirana, in cooperation with the Sector of the Special Operational Force in DVP Tirana and the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance Tirana, after a thorough investigative work, based on data collected on the street operative that a citizen, through telephone and social networks, seduced women, mostly minors, for the purpose of sexual gain, finalized the police operation codenamed “Predator”, in which they made the arrest in flagrante delicto of the citizen:
– M. Ç., 59 years old, previously convicted for the criminal offense “Sexual Harassment”.
Investigations have shown that this citizen, through the phone and social networks, cheated women, mostly minors, for sexual gain. In the framework of these investigations, it has become possible to identify the suspect in time and to prevent further criminal acts by this citizen, with minors.
This citizen was caught in flagrante delicto, after organizing a meeting with another minor citizen. During the investigative actions (cell phone search), compromising evidence was found for this citizen, implicating him in this criminal activity.
It is worth mentioning that the investigative show “STOP” on the national television “Klan” also contributed to the initiation of this criminal proceeding.
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance in Tirana, for the criminal offenses “Sexual Harassment” and “Trafficking in minors”.
