Port Durrës Border Police Services, following the work to prevent and crack down on illegality, have hit a case of bribery.
During the processing of the documentation, the citizen AG, 36 years old, resident in Vau i Dejës, Shkodër, who had shortcomings in the documentation, was passed for a more detailed control.
During the detailed control of the documentation, this citizen tried to bribe the police officers, giving him his passport together with a 50 euro banknote.
At the end of the procedural actions, the citizen AG, 36 years old, was prosecuted at large, for the criminal offense “Active corruption of persons exercising public functions”.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecution at the Durrës Judicial District Court, for further action.
