The services of the Librazhd Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the specialists for Investigation of Narcotics and Illegal Trafficking and the services of the Special Operational Force in the Local Police Directorate of Elbasan, following the continuous territorial controls for cracking down on criminal activity in the field of narcotics , based on information provided on the operational road, have organized and finalized the police operation codenamed “TARGET”.
As a result of this operation, the citizen Th. K., 50 years old, resident of Babje village, Librazhd.
Police services, during the control exercised on a forested land near the residence of this citizen, found 61 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa plants cultivated in the ground and 14 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa seedlings cultivated in plastic pots, which were seized as material evidence.
Also, following the operation, during the search of the 50-year-old’s apartment, the Police services found and seized as material evidence about 7.3 kg of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Elbasan Judicial District Court, for further action.
