At the premises of the Tirana Regional Traffic Police Commissariat, a representative of the American-Albanian Association of Police Employees handed over to the former Traffic Police employee Resmi Hasanpapa, a check in the amount of 10 thousand dollars, as a sign of gratitude and appreciation.
In 2004, Resmi Hasanpapa and his colleague Allaman Dervishi were shot by two citizens. As a result, the police officer Allaman Dervishi lost his life and Resmi Hasanpapa was injured in the leg.
The Chief of the Regional Traffic Police Commissariat, Besmir Qibini, among other things, emphasized that despite the fact that Resmi Hasanpapa lost the ability to walk, he never lost the will to give his contribution as a police officer. Since 2016, he has been integrated by giving his voluntary contribution to the Tirana Regional Traffic Police Commissariat.
The representative of the American-Albanian Law Enforcement Association, Erald Krisafi, on behalf of the leader of the association Elton Shametaj, presented the check to Hasanpapa and said that this association will always be ready to come to the aid of police officers. .
Former police officer Resmi Hasanpapa thanked the representative of the association, for the evaluation and for the donation.
