Dear friends!
My dear fellow citizens and citizens of Shkodra!
After a deep reflection on the political situation and developments in the DP, I made the decision to resign from the role of Political Leader for the Shkodra Region. I communicated this position with the DP leaders before this announcement.
The DP is going through difficult times but I am convinced that the Democrats will know how to unite quickly, and rebuild together.
What brings the members of our great political family closer together today is far greater than what divides them, and especially the vital need that the country has for a strong confrontation with the third term regime.
I think that with this withdrawal of mine, opportunities are created for energy and impulses that would serve the DP with the aim of unification. Also, opportunities are opened for the promotion of new names. I will undoubtedly continue to be a representative and MP of the Democratic Party and I will defend to the end the interests of the citizens of Shkodra and in particular of the traditional and historical supporters of the right.
I feel every day blessed by the support I have received and receive from them.
I would like to cordially thank all the residents of the Shkodra region, the tireless democrats, the heads of the structures and my close associates for their unstinting trust and support along this journey.
A belief that I will do everything to reward him.
No post, responsibility or career, is worth more today than analysis, and a humble look at reality.
For the DP and its interests, it is not the first time I take such a step, leaving personal ambition in the background. My unwavering conviction is that the DP and Democrats deserve to give for them.
