The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, held a press conference and was asked if there is a strategy to bring closer those people who say they have lost the way to choose the future of the Democratic Party.
Basha says that the DP is close to the vast majority of Albanian families, which he says belongs to Albania and its assets.
Question: Did you make an invitation to those you called people who have lost their way? Do you have a strategy on how to bring these people together to choose the future of the DP?
Basha: On the one hand we have a handful of people with privileges and wealth, on their behalf or others associated with organized groups, with oligarchs who today own all the instruments of political, economic, financial and media power in Albania. On the other hand we have the vast majority of Albanian families where as I said, one in 2 Albanian families can not pay more than one meal a day. 4 in 10 families can not heat their homes, 9 out of 10 families spend all income on basic needs.
The DP is lined up and is at the forefront of this majority to which Albania and its assets belong. While this minority can not hold Albania and the economy hostage.
