The Deputy Mayor of Lushnja, Gentian Nushi, has asked the Court to release him and change his security measure.
According to the sources of journalist Anila Hoxha, Nushi has argued through his lawyer that he is ill and suffers from heart and diabetes.
For this argument, he also submitted the card, while his lawyer requested a medical examination to confirm the illness.
Nushi was arrested in his office in December last year, after a months-long investigation into the Bishqthem-Bitaj canal tender procedures followed. The prosecutor stated that Nushi had intervened in the selection procedures of the winners in this tender.
