The well-known Greek singer, Themis Adamantidis, has been arrested after being accused of serious physical violence by his partner Varvara Kirki.
The latter, after reporting to the police, told protothema.gr all the violence experienced by the singer. “I loved Themis so much. I had dreams and plans for the future with him, I wanted to start a family, but it didn’t happen“, this is how Varvara Kirki begins the story.
“You beat me to the wood. With an apology I went back into his arms and then the same thing happened again. We have been in a relationship for a year and I have been very patient during this time. My soul hurts… Yesterday the cup overflowed… Everything I told the police is true. There are witnesses and video. I want to thank the AT commander. Alimos who from the first moment stood by my side and after the lawsuit I made, Themis was arrested. It honestly hurts my soul”, says the singer’s partner for protothema.gr.
Meanwhile, the prosecutor’s office, according to information, has started investigations against the singer and charged a number of criminal offenses such as damage to the family, threats to the family and insults.
The singer Adamantidis, who was arrested after his partner sued him for violence, was taken to the Court, from which the accused was granted a reprieve and will be judged on Monday. Until then he is free. The court released the defendant on the condition that he not approach the former partner within 100 meters and not have any communication with her.
As he was leaving, journalists asked him: “Are the charges against you serious?”. and he replied: “They are heavy… I have nothing to do with it . “

“I am the partner of Adamantidis Themistokles and we have been living together in Glyfada for about a year. At 01:30 on June 30, 2022, we were both at Ano Glyfada on Gounari Street. I was outside the store in the owner’s car, which was parked right outside the store. He was inside the store gambling. I was alone in the car for about 2 hours waiting for him.
Sometime around 1:30 I got out of the car, I was outside, I was on my cell phone on the messenger app. As soon as he saw me talking on the phone, he flew into a rage and abused me physically and verbally. He pulled me by the hair, hit me in the face and hit me hard in the groin. At the same time, he threatened me “I will kill”. He also accused me of flirting with the taxi driver across the street, which is completely false.
He has always been jealous of me and treats me badly all the time. He has physically abused me many times in the past. He constantly pushes me, punches me, slaps me, and throws things at me every couple of days. He abuses me almost every day, both when we are alone and in public in the studio where he sings. Several times in the past he has kicked me in public.”
