Two people have been declared wanted after being accused of illegally building a 7-storey building and some illegal additions in the city of Saranda.
As part of the operation codenamed “Silence”, the citizen RP, 31 years old, was arrested, and the citizen PP, 66 years old, was declared wanted.
Two other persons identified as wanted were identified as: MA, 30 years old, and NJ, 26 years old, resident in Saranda, acting Inspector in the Local Inspectorate of Territorial Defense, near the Municipality of Saranda.
After providing legal evidence regarding the illegal construction of a 7-storey building still unfinished but also some illegal additions, in some buildings under construction, the Saranda Judicial District Court with decision No. 21, dated 24.02.2022, has decided for these two citizens, security measures in the absence of “Prison arrest”, for the criminal offense “Abuse of duty”.
Both are suspected that with their actions / inactions they have allowed illegal constructions in different areas in the city of Saranda, in cooperation with the Chief Inspector of IMT RP, arrested on 21.02.2022, for the criminal offense “Abuse of duty”,
The materials were referred to the Saranda Judicial District Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
