Ivanka Trump has reacted with sadness after the sudden death of her mother through a post on Instagram.
“I am devastated by the death of my mother. It was brilliant, passionate and extraordinary. She was a model of strength, perseverance and determination in every action she undertook. She lived life to the fullest, never missing an opportunity to laugh and dance. I will miss her forever and her memory will live on in our hearts.” she said.
It was Donald Trump himself who announced the night before that his ex-wife passed away at the age of 73.
“It is with great sadness that I inform all those who loved her, of whom there are many, that Ivana passed away at her home in New York”, Donald Trump said in a message on the social media platform Truth Social.
The first wife of the former US president, Ivana Trump, died of a heart attack.
The former model died at her home on New York’s Upper East Side.
Trump, who has three children with her, Donald Jr., Eric and Ivanka, while describing Ivana as a beautiful and amazing woman.
Ivana Trump was born in the Czech Republic and married the former president in 1977. They divorced 15 years later, in 1992.
