The future of Kylian Mbappe for about a year was one of the most discussed topics in the media, with Real Madrid seeking to bring the striker closer to “Los Blancos” and on the other hand, with the club that owns his card Paris Saint -Germain, who never agreed to give up the 23-year-old.
At the moment when he seemed closer than ever to Real, Mbappe chose to stay in Paris, surprising everyone with his decision.
This time, the Frenchman appeared at the press conference alongside President Nasser al-Khelaifi, where he revealed the reasons for his decision.
“It was a difficult decision. I knew I should have decided earlier, but I had to take my time. I have never felt the pressure. Everyone knows I wanted to leave a year ago, then it was the best decision for me. This time the context is different, it is a private matter. France is the country I want to live in, it is my country. The club also wants to change a lot of things on a sporting level. “My story does not end here.”said the striker, after choosing the renewal until the summer of 2024 with PSG.
