A serious incident occurred in Oregon, USA, where a mother shot dead her two children aged 6 and 8 before killing herself.
According to Court documents the woman was in court with her ex-husband regarding custody of her children.
Ashley Palmer, 31, had asked the court at least twice urgently for full custody of the children, citing her ex-partner’s instability.
Former partner Jenavie Palmer had planned to pick up the children on Tuesday, the day they were found dead, according to foreign media.
Their bodies were found around 7:45 a.m. when officers and the serious crime team arrived at the apartment.
After investigations and autopsies, police confirmed that Ashley Palmer and the children died from gunshot wounds.
The children were identified as Kayleana Beatrice Palmer, 6, and Xavier Rayvaughn Danger Palmer, 8.
Husband Jenavie Palme said they were divorced in 2020 and were in a very bad custody dispute.
“We were in the middle of the trial and the kids were going from house to house,” said Jenavie Palmer, 34, of Portland.
