During the period January-February 2022, according to the official data of the Durrës Port Authority, the ferries line Durrës-Bari and Durrës-Ancona and vice versa have performed 136 voyages.

Two years ago, due to the pandemic, the movement of passengers by sea to Italy was suspended. The suspension of navigation started from March 9, 2020, initially to the ports of Northern Italy and return, specifically the lines with Ancona and Trieste were suspended for passengers, and then with Bari, as a measure to prevent the spread of Covid 19.
