Based on the publication of a study “Copyright and informality” by the author Enea Sheqi, the Book Center organized a round table on the preservation of copyright and informality in the book market in Albania.
Although copyright legislation is early, it is often not enforced and creators still have difficulty with the requirements it may include in a lawsuit. On the other hand contracts between publishers and authors often encounter dissatisfaction from one party or the other.
The researchers emphasized that copyright protection would, above all, encourage new creations as a primary need.
