Iran has today escalated threats against its main enemy Israel by publishing visual materials and a map of the Jewish state marked with numerous targets that Tehran could strike in response to an aggression by its enemy.
In the article with the impressive title “Just a wrong move!” The English-language Tehran Times reported today:
“An intensification of military threats against Iran seems to suggest that the Zionist regime has forgotten that we are capable of striking it from all directions.”
Along with the article came the illustration with the map of Israel filled almost everywhere with ‘red pegs’ to symbolize Iran’s possible missile targets.
It also quoted the head of Tehran’s armed forces, General Mohammad Bagheri, who insisted that “Our forces never underestimate the strength of the enemy, so we are prepared for any strategic threat.”
“At the strategic level we do not want to attack anyone, but at the operational and tactical level we are ready for a decisive response and fierce offensives against the enemy , ” he said referring to Israel.
Bagheri added that Iran’s missile capabilities were proven by the missile attack on the US base in January 2020 and the downing of the US Global Hawk drone in the Strait of Hormuz in June 2019.
The Tehran Times added that Israel has intensified its activities as talks on reviving the 2015 nuclear deal between Tehran and world powers are expected to resume in Vienna.
The daily adds that Israeli airstrikes in Syria remain a problem, as the latter has the help of Iran to fight terrorists.
It also mentioned a plan by Israeli naval forces in the Mediterranean to simulate an attack on Iran.
