The Islamic State (IS) militant group has claimed responsibility for an attack that left three Afghan TV workers dead in the eastern city of Jalalabad.
An Afghan IS collaborator has said the attackers carried out the killings in the provincial capital Nangarhar on March 2, according to the SITE Intelligence Group, which monitors militant online activity.
Enikass TV workers are said to have just graduated and were between 18 and 20 years old.
They died after being shot as they headed home.
In December, IS also claimed responsibility for the murder of the presenter of this television and the driver of the car that was in it.
Afghanistan has recently seen an increase in the number of journalists, civil society activists and other officials targeted for assassination as peace talks between the Afghan government and Taliban negotiators take place in Qatar.
Human rights groups have said the killings were intended to silence and intimidate independent voices and civil society in the country.
