Despite record hospitalizations by the coronavirus, Israel decided to cancel the vaccination passport order.
As of today, Israelis must prove through green certification that they have been vaccinated or cured of the disease only when they need to attend major events, such as weddings.
From this point on, anyone can go to restaurants, cinemas, hotels, etc., without the need to submit a negative coronavirus test.
The relief comes despite the fact that more than 1,200 people infected with the coronavirus are in hospitals, the highest figure since the pandemic outbreak, in this state of 9.4 million people.
Australia has announced for the first time in almost two years that it will reopen its borders to vaccinated tourists and other visa holders.
“If you are fully vaccinated, we look forward to seeing you back,” said Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
The reopening of the site will take place on February 21st. It is eagerly awaited by many sectors, as Australia was one of the countries that implemented some of the strictest border measures during the coronavirus pandemic.
The government closed its borders in March 2020, and most foreigners were barred from entering the fight against the pandemic.
