People gathered today at the site where the Israeli army killed 3 Palestinians in an attack and wounded 10 others in the West Bank Jenny.
The three young Palestinians were executed when the army opened fire on the vehicle they were traveling in, the Palestinian news agency Vafa reported.
After the heavy attack, the network said that “fierce clashes continued in the area” during which the army opened fire on the Palestinians, injuring 10 of them.
The AFP network photographer said the victims’s vehicle was filled with bullet holes as their bodies were taken to Jenny’s morgue.
The dead were identified as 23-year-old Yusef Salah, 24-year-old Baraa Lahluh, and 24-year-old Laith Abu Srur, all from Jenin.
The Israeli army said the soldiers had been attacked with weapons and pursued the suspected vehicle where they killed the “terrorists”.
Since the beginning of this year, over 71 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli army fire in military raids and clashes in the West Bank.
Tensions have worsened since last month following Israeli attacks on occupied territories, and settlers’ incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex in Jerusalem.
