Jennifer Lopez posted an intimate video on the network yesterday where she shows that while taking a bath in the bathtub, her boyfriend Ben Affleck proposed to her with a ring in his hand.
“On Saturday while I was in my favorite place (in the bath), my beautiful boyfriend sat on one knee and proposed to me,” said the singer, admitting that he was caught in complete surprise.
“I looked him in the eye with a smile and suddenly I started to think that now, after 20 years, this thing was happening again,” she explains.
Lopez, 52, said she started to cry when 49-year-old Affleck asked her to marry him, and that the simplicity of everything made the moment even more romantic.
“I smiled because I felt very happy. It was a simple evening at home and we were both promising to be there forever for each other. “We got a second chance at true love.”

Lopez showed in the video the green diamond of the ring, explaining that its color was what he had considered lucky.
“He gave me a green diamond ring. “Green is my lucky color, but from now on it will be even more.”
Lopez and Affleck rekindled their love in April 2021 as they reappeared for the first time as a couple in September at the Venice Film Festival.
