The National Association of Judges of the Republic of Albania says that in the new court map, it will best respond to the needs of citizens for the administration of a quality justice and in equal time for all.
In a statement to the media, the association states that it supports the approval of the new court map and fully appreciates the work of almost three years led so far by the High Judicial Council.
“The National Association of Judges of the Republic of Albania has followed with great attention and interest the entire process of drafting the analytical document of the new judicial map prepared by the High Judicial Council, in consultation and cooperation with other actors in the process.
The reform of the justice system, supported from the very beginning by the Association with proposals and proposing initiatives, as one of its main goals has the construction of an efficient judiciary, in terms of time, quality and economy. To achieve this requires the design of a judicial structure to maximize this goal as well as a studied distribution of human resources in this regard.
Although the vetting process created large gaps in the judiciary, this did not diminish it at all, on the contrary, it increased the determination of the subjects engaged in the process of drafting the new judicial map, which will serve not only to mitigate the consequences of this process necessary for the justice system, but also to give the country a better judicial service in the future.
The National Association of Judges of the Republic of Albania highly appreciates the work of almost three years led so far by the High Judicial Council regarding the analysis and design of the new court map. Also, the Association states that the new map will best respond to the needs of citizens for the administration of quality justice and at an equal time for all. The specialization of judges and the similar speed of similar cases, in all courts of the Republic, is a goal and a challenge that will be fulfilled without the slightest doubt by the judicial reorganization provided in this document.
For this reason, it supports and encourages the adoption as soon as possible of this document of strategic importance for the present and future of justice in our country. Finally, the Association expresses its commitment that, as always, it does not spare its assistance for any initiative that leads to the improvement of the standard of justice in our country “, says the National Association of Judges.
