Julian Assange, has suffered a stroke, due to uncertainty about his fate, declared his fiancée on December 12.
The website’s host, Wikileaks, was said to have suffered a stroke while the Supreme Court in London was deciding whether to extradite him to the United States.
Assange is being held in a high-security prison in south-east London. Meanwhile, Stella Morris, the mother of his two children, said that “Assange was attacked at the time when the first court hearing was held regarding his case”.
“Julian is in trouble and I am afraid that this attack he experienced could only be the beginning of his difficulties. “This only adds to our fears about his ability to survive, as long as this legal battle lasts,” Morris said.
The U.S. accuses Julian Assange of 17 counts of espionage and one count of computer misuse in connection with the publication of thousands of diplomatic and military documents.
The Supreme Court in London on December 10 paved the way for Assange to be extradited to the United States.
