The prosecution this Thursday has announced the claim for Clyde Shund, who on the morning of January 1, stabbed to death his brother-in-law, with whom he was celebrating the change of years.
Sources for the journalist Anila Hoxha, said that the prosecution has requested 30 years in prison for the 32-year-old.
The inauguration of the new house of 31-year-old Clyde Shundi and the celebration of the change of years with his sister, brother-in-law and two granddaughters turned into a tragedy on the morning of January 1, 2021, in the area of ”5 May” in Tirana.
It is learned that during the celebrations a debate started between the brother-in-law and the sister, Clyde intervened, asking them not to fight in his house, after they gathered for the party.
Everything went well until around 03:00 in the morning where before the event everyone took a picture together as a souvenir. This beautiful memory would be overturned a few seconds later, turning into tragedy.
When Lavdi Zvezhda was leaving with his wife and two daughters, he had another conflict with his wife, Silva.
The eldest granddaughter called her uncle, Clyde, saying “uncle, mom and dad are fighting, come please”.
When Clyde Shundi came out on the steps of the palace he had a knife in his hand and saw his brother-in-law arguing with his sister.
That was enough and he struck Lavdi Zvezhda with a knife and as a result caused him serious injuries.
Zvezhda was taken to hospital, but was unable to survive the injuries and consequently died.
Shundi had recently returned from Italy and was resuming his life in Albania, taking an apartment where he celebrated before the tragedy with his sister, brother-in-law and two granddaughters.
