The Committee for Coordination and Assessment of the Epidemiological Situation has recommended new anti-COVID measures.
The Minister of Health in Kosovo, Rifat Latifi said that there will be a review of measures but the measures will be in proportion to the needs for keeping schools open and the economy open.
“Obviously there will be a review of the measures, they will be in proportion to the developments and the spread of COVID and will be in balance with the needs for the development of keeping schools and the economy open,” he said.
Asked about the measures, Latifi said that it is possible that the gastronomy will be closed from 22:00, but did not give more details.
Latifi said that the recommendations for the review of the measures will be sent today or tomorrow morning to the government.
“It is very possible that the premises will be closed from 22:00, but we will decide this together. “We will send this to the government this afternoon or tomorrow morning,” he said.
Latifi said that citizens should be vaccinated while rejecting claims that there are expired vaccines./KosovaPress/
