The Ministry of Health in Kosovo has announced that on Sunday, January 16, 771 new cases of coronavirus were registered, after testing 6,553 samples.
The positivity rate from the samples taken is 11.76 percent.
No deaths from COVID-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours.
Health authorities have also reported that 119 people have recovered while 4,489 people are still active cases of coronavirus.
Kosovo launched its coronavirus vaccination campaign in March last year.
More than 1.7 million doses of the vaccine have been given since then.
Citizens in Kosovo can get vaccines from the companies: Pfizer / BioNTech and AstraZeneca.
The booster dose of the vaccine can be taken after three months of taking the second dose.
