The Ministry of Health in Kosovo has announced that on Tuesday, January 18, 720 new cases of coronavirus were registered, after testing 4,785 samples.
The positivity rate from the samples taken is 15.04 percent.
One victim has been registered in the last 24 hours.
Health authorities have also reported that 159 people have recovered while 5,678 people are still active in the coronavirus.
Since the pandemic broke out in March 2020, Kosovo authorities have registered over 163,000 cases of infection.
Of these, 2,995 people died.
Kosovo launched its coronavirus vaccination campaign in March last year.
More than 1.7 million doses of the vaccine have been given since then.
Citizens in Kosovo can get vaccines from the companies: Pfizer / BioNTech and AstraZeneca.
The booster dose of the vaccine can be taken after three months of taking the second dose.
