The Kremlin said Tuesday that Western sanctions would never force Russia to change its position on Ukraine.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that despite direct negotiations between Moscow and Kiev, there are no plans for talks between the two countries’ presidents.
According to Reuters, Peskov denied allegations of Russian attacks on civilian targets and the use of cluster bombs and vacuum bombs.
He declined to give an assessment of the military situation on the ground on the sixth day of the Russian occupation of Ukraine, which the Kremlin describes as a special operation to demilitarize the country.
