Kukësi came out of the “Kukës Arena” plant upside down while the Northeasterners were defeated by Partizan with the result 1-2.
The first faction all talked about Partizan with the reds who appeared dominant against Kukes. Coach Dritan Mehmeti’s first signal was given in the third minute when Stenio Junior was denied a goal from the crossbar, while just a minute later, the Northeasterners responded with an unbelievable shot from distance by Pablo De Lucas.
Immediately, the momentum of Partizan “sent” in error also Gjelbërim Taipi with Skuka who went alone to the gate of Kukës, passed the goalkeeper Xhika and in the end his shot did not have the right strength and was stopped by Jorgo Pëllumbi.
However, the dominance of the reds was rewarded in the 26th minute when this time Stenio Junior defeated Xhika in a header after Cara’s cross. The striker of the Reds had the chance to go down in history as the first player to score a goal in the new northeastern facility, “Kukës Arena”.
A minute later, again fate was not on Partizan’s side after Skuka stopped from the post. But, the second party for the capital was reserved for the 40th minute as this time Skuka served in the area for Stenio Junior and the Brazilian did not forgive but doubled the numbers.
This result closed the first half, while in the second fraction, the Northeasterners had one more “march” to change the fate of the match. And, the goal came in the 52nd minute through Luka Milunovic who scored with the empty net as Edi Basa’s attempt was stopped from the post.
In the 63rd, Feijao snatches the ball from Mark in the area, passes to Milunovic but in the end the Serb is stopped by Belica. Meanwhile, Stenio Junior abuses a flagrant case as he took advantage after a dispute between Lulaj and De Luca. The Brazilian tried to punish Xhika with a parable, but the goalkeeper understood the idea and stopped the ball in time.
In continuation, Kukes created another opportunity with Bahtiri while Partizan managed well the remaining minutes. In the 91st minute, Partizani was left with ten players after the red card of Maguette who was punished by referee Hamiti after an unsportsmanlike gesture against Lulaj, while De Lucas did not escape the punishment who intervened harshly against Cara.
After this match, the Northeasterners reach seven victories in a row without a victory with the Reds, who already maintain the third place and win the duel directly against Kukës, while they already have a safety distance of three points against the team of coach Diego Longo in fourth place, which risks lose it too depending on the result of Vllaznia. Thus, Partizan coach Dritan Mehmeti keeps his form and after the victory with Dinamo, they collect the second consecutive triumph./Super Sport
