As for the beachfront bars otherwise known as “beach bars”, Kumbaro said that the deadline to apply for a permit is until March 25. She warned that control in the territory would be ‘very strict’.
“We have seen ‘beach bar’ service units on the beaches. Not all are licensed, we know very well, but this is the year where we have to formalize all the service structures on the beaches, all the bars, small to large. Therefore, they should take measures to prepare the ‘beach bars’ to submit them for approval to the territorial development agency.
For newly applying entities, after obtaining prior approval, they must apply to apply for a beach bar permit. We must put an end to illegal construction on beaches. Entities that have a contract must also apply. The deadline for applying for a permit is March 25. I warn that the control will be very strict. “We can not allow illegality to make the law on the beaches in 2022.” she said.
