Vetëvendosje Movement says that the harmful agreements that may come from the dialogue with Serbia, will be opposed by the Government and the Assembly.
But for the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities, the country could go to the polls next year. The latter say that the agreements that have been signed earlier, will try to review them, in order, according to them, to enable Kosovo a clear position in its demands.
Vetëvendosje Movement MP Armend Muja, in an interview with Ekonomia Online, says that the overthrow of the Kurti Government in the name of dialogue could have major political consequences for other entities, citing the motion of no confidence in the Kurti Government 1 last year.
“The objections we have from Serbia should not be used by political entities, because it was tried once in the name of dialogue to overthrow the Kurti Government and then the message was received from the voters. I think that political opportunists should keep in mind that politics is not accounting but it is an attitude of this country and the voters to oppose harmful agreements for Kosovo. Kosovo is open for dialogue and in fact it is in the interest of peace for the Western Balkans, to be as close as possible to European values, but they must be based on principles, because that is how states work“, Said Muja.
