The question in SPAK of the former minister Lefter Koka about the incinerator in Fier has ended, after he is accused of abuse of office.
“I did not abuse my duty. I enforced the law. I set up Commissions in accordance with the law. Examine whether there are works or not. I do not know the companies you mention at all “said Koka.
Asked why the tender notice was not published in an international magazine, Koka said: “The law on public procurement is not appealed in this case, but the DCM on concessions and PPP is applied, which says that the electronic notification is made in the electronic application system.”
As for allegations of signature forgery of tender documents, Koka said “It’s not my signature.”
“I do not know, I can not know if there is forgery. The prosecution itself had to conduct an expert examination. “
As for the expropriation of the land, why they have turned the land from land to arable land, Koka answered:
“It was treated as arable land and not land, because if it was treated as land, the price would be 6 times higher. “Moreover, when the building permit came out, that land was transformed from arable land to arable land.”
Regarding the connection with the bill companies, Koka said: “I do not know them, I have no connection and for the values that I allegedly went to Sucra Alba, it is the company of my brother who passed away recently, I have no connection. I have not had any connection with this company for 12 years.
I’m in jail against the law, I’m not dangerous and if I were under house arrest, I would make an effective defense. I am ready to state every time you call me. “
As of 10:00 today, he has been questioned about the procedures for granting the concession for the incinerator in Fier, as Lefter Koka is suspected of having received about 1.2 million euros in bribes for the construction of the incinerator.
Koka is also accused of forging documents. Yesterday, for over two hours, the former socialist MP Alqi Bllako was asked by SPAK about the procedure of concession of the incinerator of Fier, an issue that cost him not only the mandate, but also freedom.
