Two people lost their lives today in Kosovo as a result of bad weather.
One of the victims, a Turkish citizen, lost his life in Rahovec after being struck by lightning.
Along with him, another person was struck by lightning, who escaped and is being treated at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo.
Kosovo Police spokesman for the Gjakova region, Sheremet Elezaj said that the 34-year-old victim and the 28-year-old injured are Turkish citizens, and at the moment when they were struck by lightning they were working. According to the doctor on duty at UCCK, the condition of the injured is out of danger for life.
The second victim is a 30-year-old man from Prishtina, who lost his life as a result of the fall of an oak tree.
