The NATO summit in Madrid is over and world leaders who are part of the military alliance have shared their reactions.
French President Emmanuel Macron has said support for Ukraine cannot be stopped. “The war in Ukraine is a war between the European Union and NATO,” he added.
Meanwhile, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said he did not want to speculate on how long Ukraine would need support.
He called Putin’s comments on NATO imperialism “ridiculous”, adding that no one could say what the Russian president would do to end the war in Ukraine.
