Well-known singer Mariah Carey has recently been sued for copyright infringement on her 1994 Christmas mega-hit, “All I Want for Christmas is You”.
Singer-songwriter Andy Stone says he wrote a song of the same name five years before Carey released her hit, arguing that Carey took advantage of his popularity and style.
Despite having a title, the two songs look different, but Stone claims Carey caused confusion and did not ask permission.
