Another grave with dozens of civilians was found in the village of Buzova near Kiev after Russian forces withdrew from areas north of the capital, marking another massacre after that in Bucha.
The Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office has said that more than 1,222 bodies of dead civilians have been found in the region around Kiev, after the withdrawal of Russian forces.
Chief Prosecutor Irina Venediktktova said more than 5,600 war crimes cases have been investigated since the beginning of the occupation, and more than 500 war criminals have been identified, including senior military and Russian government officials.
She added that Ukraine has evidence that Russia carried out a missile attack on a train station in the eastern city of Kramatorsk, which killed more than 50 people waiting for a train to take them west. Russia has denied responsibility for Friday’s attack and claims it was not their missile.
Meanwhile, other images have circulated on the network showing the bombing of Dnipro airport.
Meanwhile satellite images have shown that a military convoy of nearly eight thousand vehicles is moving east of the country, towards Kharkiv, with what is described as another major battle.
“Ukraine is ready for this battle against Russia,” Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhaylo Podolyak told national television.
He says Ukraine must defeat Moscow forces in the eastern Donbas region, where Moscow controls two separatist territories, for more bargaining power before a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
