A serious accident was recorded in the early hours of this morning on the Lushnje-Fier highway, where several vehicles collided one after the other.
The accident happened near the Kolonjë roundabout.
It is learned that initially a truck transporting oil hit the protective barrier of the highway and consequently spilled a significant amount of oil on the road. The presence of oil on the highway has caused problems for drivers causing their cars to slip on the road and collide with side barriers.
Firefighters arrived at the scene immediately to clear the road with water and solution in order to remove the oil, while the traffic police took measures to discipline the traffic.
It is also being investigated to clarify the causes of the multiple accident which thankfully has only material damage.
