Members of Congress call on the Biden administration to facilitate the transfer of fighter jets to Ukraine.
They were Texas Republican Michael McCaul, a Republican and a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
“I strongly asked the Secretary of State yesterday to complete this transaction. You know, Ukrainians can fly Russian MiG. “But then Poland wants a return order, and that could be the F-16,” McCaul said.
The call for the transfer of fighter jets to Poland was made today, in response to Ukrainian President Zelensky, who asked Western countries to send fighter jets to his country.
“We will not place our troops there, but you know what we can do to help the Ukrainian people win this war. I think the will of the Ukrainian people will essentially defeat the will of the Russian troops. Russian troops are not in this. But the Ukrainians are. “And if we can arm them to defend ourselves, that’s how we defeated the Russians,” he added.
