I welcome the increased attention of the European Parliament to our region as well, which should increase our vigilance against any attempt at instability by unfriendly actors. I call on the Albanian Parliament to clearly and without delay express its will against the invasion of Ukraine, similar to other NATO and EU countries! ”writes the president.

The draft resolution states that the Albanian Parliament: Strongly condemns the Russian military aggression in Ukraine and the grave violation by the Russian Federation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as an act that violates the international order, openly and flagrantly violating the United Nations Charter, the Final Act of Helsinki , The Budapest Memorandum, the Minsk Agreements, as well as a number of other international and bilateral documents that Russia has voluntarily signed.
