Mike Pence: I want to thank you all for going through difficult situations. It is the first time I have visited Albania and today I will not speak on behalf of the American government but on behalf of all the American people who are with you who are fighting for the freedom of Iran.
I know that many Americans have their families, 1.5 million Americans were born in Iran, so the US today is home to the Iranian diaspora more than any other country in the world. Most Iranians in the US have come after the 1989 revolution as they knew that Amerikado would always be the land of freedom holding the flame of freedom in eternity. We are proud of our Iranian-American community and extend our heartfelt condolences to the victims who lost their lives and suffered. We support you, your voice in the global space is stronger as always. It was the tragedy of the modern era. The people of Iran have a special place in my heart. I am very modest when I say this. Uprisings and protesters flooded the streets of Iran, the whole world witnessed as they demanded an end to these sufferings. The heart of America is freedom and you should never be silent about defending freedom.
Giving a voice to the people of America we signed a resolution in strong support of the entire administration that supported the case of the Iranian resistance.
