Missing transparency, confusing small and large businesses for board decision making

For days, the ministers and deputies of the majority have gone down to the market in markets and supermarkets as price inspectors, while for the citizens there is still no official announcement of the board, how much they should buy flour, sugar, oil or pasta.

The government vowed that by creating a transparency board it would not allow abuses at the expense of citizens. Meanwhile, large businesses have received a letter from Taxes asking them to detail the price list of products and invoices for the sale and purchase of goods, but not instructions on how to determine them.

Even small traders, off-camera, show that they have not yet received any instructions from the board, while complaining that sales have fallen, especially for oil due to its strong rise in price.

In a response to Top Channel, the Ministry of Finance states that the methodology that the board will follow has not been determined yet and work is underway to detail it in the coming days.

Until this structure becomes functional and puts under control the prices for basic products which will be made known to the public, citizens will continue to pay somewhere more and somewhere less for their purchase.
