The images show the difficult moments when a personal trainer discovers that his wife was cheating on him with a homeless man whom he tries to barbarically pull out of the car to beat him.
But his wife is a devout Christian and told friends she had received “a message from God” to help the homeless.
The incident took place inside the Jardim Roriz primary school, in Planaltina, Brazil on the morning of March 10th.
Security camera footage showed that Eduardo Alves had seen the parked car and spotted his wife with another man inside.
He is immediately seen raging with rage and starts hitting the windshield, before opening the car door and entering furiously inside.
The picture shows the other man getting out of the car and Eduardo starts following him. Aie brings her back to the car and starts beating her.
Eduardo’s wife is seen standing scared on the ground next to the car.
But local media said the woman and her sister had gone out in the morning to help the man sleeping outside.
While Eduardo was not able to contact his wife before he saw the car in the parking lot, where he would later find “shocking” scenes.
During questioning at the police station Eduardo said he was selling a rape case but was informed by his wife’s relationship with the man in the car it was a consensual help.
The woman told police she liked to help people in need she knew at the church she attended.
Earlier, he told a friend that he had received “a message from God to help the homeless man.”
The latter was taken to hospital with minor injuries and a smoky eye after the beating.
Brazilian civilian police said they are continuing to investigate the case which will soon go to court.
