Tough days have come for Jose Mourinho in Italy. The Portuguese specialist was very close to the first victory against one of the best teams in Serie A, but remained empty-handed, as his Roma made a complete turn from 3: 1 to 3: 4 against Juventus. It took the Bianconeri exactly 7 minutes to change the score in Rome.
As might be expected, right after the match, the Italian press proved ruthless towards Mourinho.
“He could not correct the individual problems in the team,” wrote La Gazzetta Dello Sport. Corriere dello Sport was harsher, writing that “the specialist could not find the cure to save Rome from collapse”.
However, on the other side, remains his former team “Inter”, which has achieved 8 consecutive victories in the championship. Simone Inzaghi’s team defeated the Roman Eagles 2-1 and the heroes of the match were Alessandro Bastoni and Milan Skriniar, who scored in Giuseppe Meazza to bring Zikaltri back to Milan at the top of the standings.
After the match, Lazio coach Mauricio Sari admitted he wanted a selection of players in the winter.
“The club knows we need change, but we also need to keep in mind the financial part of things“, He said.
