During these hot days, Tirana Waterworks has continued with the intensive control with the Task Force teams in the area of Dajti in units 6, 4 and 2 on drinking water abuses.
During the control, entities were found that abused the network water, for which administrative measures were taken with fines for 4 (four) entities in this area, as well as the interruption of the abusive lines at the origin of the transmission lines!
The “Don’t waste water” campaign launched by UKT aims to make citizens aware that the abuse of drinking water is a problem, which directly affects the normal supply of drinking water in the city.
In addition to informing and sensitizing citizens, Tirana Waterworks is taking care with its working groups every day to properly administer water and protect it from abuse.
