A 37-year-old woman confessed today in “Albania live” the physical and psychological violence she experienced from her husband, while the two children witnessed the mother’s suffering.
Ana, whose identity was not made public, revealed that the man had other sentimental relationships outside of marriage and when he came home, he raped her.
With pain, she confesses that she was sexually abused, to the point that she was in danger of dying.
“I was barbarically raped by that person and made an intervention, that I did not know if I would come out alive. After the operation, I realized that I was given a second chance to live and left”.
A few months ago, her husband, with whom she is still not divorced, drove her out of the house and since then, does not allow her to see the children.
“I have seven and a half months without seeing my parents. They are our children and we should treat them both equally. We live in the same city, but I can not see them. I call on the state to help me “.
Between tears, Ana closes with a message for Albanian mothers who may be in a similar situation:
“Do not make the same mistake I did. When given the opportunity, leave at first, as I did. Take the children and flee, escape. Do not feed children with hatred”.
