A much-wanted citizen, sentenced to 20 years in prison, for the murder of a citizen, in 1998, was captured and put in handcuffs in the village of Vrinë.
The services of the Sarandë Police Station, after receiving information that a much-wanted citizen was hiding in the village of Vrinë, Sarandë, organized the work and after several days of being under control, in cooperation with the Special Force “Shqiponja” and the structures of the DVP Vlorë, finalized the operation coded “Vrina”, as a result of which the citizen was arrested and handcuffed:
– Hair Breshanaj, 62 years old, resident of Saranda.
This citizen was declared wanted after the Vlora Court of First Instance, with the decision dated 21.12.2000, sentenced him to 20 years of imprisonment for the criminal offense of “Deliberate murder”. The 62-year-old, on 24.11.1998, in the neighborhood “Uji i Ftohte”, Vlorë, after a conflict for weak motives, killed the citizen NN with a knife
The materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Vlora Judicial District Court, for further action.
