Authorities in the U.S. said today that a Nevada woman who went missing on Valentine’s Day before being found crouching in a tree near an abyss has disappeared again while taking pictures near a dam with tourist panoramas.
64-year-old Gayle Stewart was in the pages of American newspapers last month when she was found swinging in a tree on February 14, has already disappeared again near the ‘Bypass Bridge’ bridge in the parking area of the Hoover Dam, forest services and police reported.
Stewart had “traveled in the area and never returned to her car,” officials said. She was last seen on March 14.
The blonde woman with blue eyes is about 1.70 tall and the last time she wore a black blouse and skirt, the statement said.
“There are no other details about this missing person at this point of the investigation but information from other visitors to the location is helpful,” officials said.
A Lake Mead Lake Park spokesman told the network NBC News that Stewart is the same person who went missing in northern Nevada last month.
In that incident, she was found in a remote area of natural walks, NBC network reports. It is not yet clear how she ended up rocking in the trees.
Officials said Stewart did not have a single shoe and had “several foot injuries,” meaning he had crashed into rough terrain, firefighters who found him at the time said.
